From May 18 to 22, AGH University in Krakow (Poland) hosted the spring plenary meeting of the Video Quality Experts Group (VQEG).

The event featured interesting presentations and fruitful discussions regarding the currently active VQEG projects, notably the Emerging Technologies Group (ETG), Statistical Analysis Methods (SAM), 5G Key Performance Indicators (5GKPI), and the Immersive Media Group (IMG).

The Grupo de Tratamiento de Imágenes was strongly represented at this international forum by Jesús Gutiérrez and Narciso García. Jesús, in his role as co-chair of the IMG, led one of the key sessions, presenting the latest updates and next steps for joint activities in the field of immersive media.

A highly successful meeting that consolidates the group's contribution to the cutting edge of international video technologies.
